We at the Q Cafe are commited to supporting our community and all of the many people and organizations in the greater Seattle area that are trying to make a difference. Every month we give 10% of our income to local organizations that are working on local and global causes.
This month, the Q Cafe is supporting WATER 1ST, whose mission is to implement sustainable, community-managed projects that integrate water supply, sanitation, and health education in poor countries. WATER 1ST works in India, Honduras, Bangladesh, and Ethiopia. To find out more visit www.water1st.org

Well, hello! We are in need of volunteers for our Live Music and Art program. Volunteers are what make the Q Cafe possible!
Volunteers help with live music and art shows by working the register, door, and helping to setup/teardown. Volunteers are also needed for promotional activities such as: working with bands and artists to design posters and flyers for our shows, as well as helping to spread the word about the Cafe through promotional events at colleges and Seattle events.
We are especially in need of volunteers for our July live music shows. For a list of who is playing check out our events calendar on this website.
No definite time commitment neccessary, though we do want people who have a true interest in live music and our cafe. Some perks include…
* free admission to shows, complimentary drinks, great live music and the chance to be a part of a cafe that is committed to its community!*
